And although he was treated in the hospital and later discharged, the boy’s coping became increasingly complex.
After a series of specialized tests, doctors finally gave Terri the grim diagnosis.
“They told me that they would do everything they could to get him out, but that it was up to Taylor to respond, and that if she didn’t, she would only have a few hours left,” her mother recalled.
«They recommended that I clean him up and call the family to say goodbye.
Then, after being in a coma for 17 long and painful days, the great Tayloɾ finally woke up.
But not everything was good for Terɾi.
And after Cotypic Therapies, a great dose of strength and patience, but above all, infinite love, this mother of fighter, like her little one, has been able to see a light at the bottom of the Tunnel.
Finally, at 3 years old, using prosthetics specially decorated with his favorite character, Spidermapa, he has managed to take his first steps, alone.
«Seeing him walk for the first time was very exciting.
However, Terri reflects and says that “there is nothing worse than seeing your child’s limbs move, but it was the best decision we made because, ultimately, they can walk and have confidence.”
He is a child completely confident in himself, and his mother says that sometimes he does not take care of his prostheses, and that he prefers to walk with his knuckles.
“It’s the little things that the rest of us take for granted that excite us,” Terɾi concluded.
The family, for their part, is raising funds to rebuild a room adapted to Taylor’s coρdιcιon, at their home in Nottiпghɑm, EpgƖad.
This mother is a hopeful woman who has never given up and from her tailor she has learned to have strength, severity and always move forward.
