The parents of two-year-old Jiang Kaijian were running out of hope of having the abscess on his brain removed.
However thanks to kind-hearted strangers, little Kaijian, from China’s rural Hunan province, is finally able to undergo life-saving surgery and fight for a chance at a normal life.

Because the family had no money, they had no choice but to take him back home with them without getting him treated.

On April 25, Jiang Kaijian’s parents took him to a specialist hospital in Shanghai for his treatment.
Doctors told the parents: ‘The abscess will have caused serious damage to the brain. He will most likely not be able to walk or take care of himself.’
However the parents are hopeful with Jiang Meili vowing to take care of her son for the rest of his life if she has to.
It’s thought that the child is set to undergo the surgery in the coming days.
